I dance salsa. Its a friendly environment- how can I tell if someone is interested in me?

Now I really like this person- trouble is a dance club is difficult to pick up signals as everyone is friendly and really nice to each other.
Am I reading to much into the fact that she has given me her number? I am worried that if I call her to ask her out that I could muck up things and miss out on dancing in the future because she could feel akward?
