That is a bastion of(Gitmo) of American Imperialism we can do with out and show the world and the rest of the Americas we no longer want hegemony over them. The USA signed a perpetual lease with Cuba after the faked Spanish American war where both countries have to agree to terminate the lease. Fidel has not cashed payments sent to Cuba and wants their territory returned to the Cuban people, its rightful owners. We should demand freedom of dissent and opposition parties to function in return for it. I think this action if it were to take place would be worth great benefits to American foreign policy in an area we neglect eventhough we have a lot in common and is essential to our business interests.The Cuban people I know have no taste foCommunismsm. Open Cuba up and we will have markets that we need and the form of government they have now wont last long. I would like to go to Havana and drink a “Cuba Libre” while listening to some great “Son” or Salsa.I hope it happens soon while I can still do my thing!
