This is known as Puerto Rican style, Mambo On2, Salsa On2 or NY Mambo. (same name for the same style). We are from San Diego, CA.

Yeah ur right but she's kinda right too. The point is to use the hands lightly. It's not solely the feet but I think her point is that some guys use their hands to yank the ladies around too much. It should be very subtle. just my opinion.

If you are in dance hold with your partner you can feel where the feet go even with your eyes closed by the changing of weight. If the lead moves the body first you can not feel where the weight is. Try it.

True, but seeing as you don't want to look at your feet all the time, is it more proximity, direction your body is facing, direction of travel? |
